What is the Liberatory Practice Space?
The Liberatory Practice Space was born out of our desire to meet this moment of global fullness with the sharing of space, breath, and witnessing. Within our collective, we seek to place medicine on our wounds while dismantling barriers to connection with our own and others’ humanity. The intention of this space is to tap into our creative collective genius and source ways to ground, recharge, and feel free. This is a monthly drop-in offering that is ever changing and responsive to the desires of participants in space.
Who is the Liberatory Practice Space For?
The Liberatory Practice Space is for Black People, Indigenous People, and People of Color (BIPOC). It is entirely free and open to all BIPOC interested in co-creating a brave and vibrant space that centers our unique and creative expression through embodiment, art, writing, storytelling and collective dreaming. Alumni participants of Healing Cycles of Harm or any other RooT offerings are also welcome to come through!
When does the Liberatory Practice Space Happen and Who is Facilitating the Space?
We will meet every Third Thursday from 4-6 PST / 7-9 EST. RooT Facilitators Jennelle Ramdeen and Dominique Cowling will be designing and facilitating topic-specific drop-in monthly practices that meet the needs of what is emerging each month. RooT Facilitator Gabby {G} Momah will be offering tech support and emotional support for the space.
What y’all got planned for the third gathering on July 17th?!
We will be engaging with our unique and intuitive gifts to deepen our divine connection. This invitation is open to BIPOC across diverse faith, earth based and spiritual practices who are interested in soul nourishment. Our approach is through ancestral and nature reverence. In addition to sharing about RooT offerings, we will explore our inner worlds through art, embodiment and poetry writing. Come be inspired by the various shapes we practice our connection to higher power / spirit!
